Estate Planning

A well-designed estate plan does more than decide who gets what.

Estate planning is about protecting the people, assets, values and choices that matter to you. Whether you’re creating your first plan, updating an existing one, or facing a significant change, we help you understand your options and decide with confidence.

Your plan should reflect your life

The questions estate planning answers

Who can make financial and medical decisions for me if I can’t?
Who should care for my children?
How should my assets pass to the people I love, and when?
How can I reduce the chance of conflict in my family?
Does my family need to go through probate?
How should my plan change after marriage, divorce or a new child?

Your plan should evolve as your life does.

A plan created ten years ago may no longer reflect your family, finances, relationships or wishes. Each of these is a signal to revisit it:

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a will or a trust?

It depends on your assets, your family, your privacy goals and how much you want to simplify things for your family later. We walk through the trade-offs in plain language before you decide.

I already have a plan. Should I update it?

If it’s more than a few years old, or your family, finances or the people you named have changed, it’s worth a review.

Can we do this entirely online?

Yes. We are virtual-first and serve clients across Texas. Signings that require a notary or witnesses are arranged with you.
