Legacy Design Law PLLC was founded on a simple idea: legal planning should help people make better decisions about their lives, their families and their futures.
Life rarely unfolds exactly as planned. Your plan should be ready for that.
Monique Gonzalez is an attorney, educator and strategic thinker who has spent her career helping people navigate complex information and make informed decisions. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2003 and holds a J.D. and a master’s degree in library and information science.
Before founding Legacy Design Law PLLC, Monique served as a law school administrator and professor, and she continues to teach law students. She has also worked in legal information and technology settings, helping legal professionals find their way through complex systems and research.
That background shapes how she practices today. She believes clients should understand their legal options, not just receive legal documents.
Her practice focuses on estate planning, incapacity planning, elder law and business continuity, especially the challenges that come with aging, caregiving and passing wealth between generations. She serves clients statewide through a virtual-first practice, with a Houston office available by appointment.
Every meeting, every question, every document: you work with Monique, not a rotating team.
Legal guidance grounded in long experience with complex decisions.
A commitment to explaining the law in ways you can actually understand.
Planning that considers not just today, but what may happen next.
Secure, virtual-first and easy to navigate.
Estate planning and elder law are ultimately about people and relationships, not just documents.
Monique speaks to community groups, employers, professional associations and business audiences. Upcoming: Small Business Expo, Austin, TX — “The 90-Day Test.”
